After my friend bought me my first set of Kandi Beads, I decided I wanted to join her in a special competition. My friend was telling me about a competition for artistic and creative people that will happen in about a month from now. She said the whole goal of the competition is to bring lots of creative people together from many different parts of the country and even the world. This particular competition is all about what you can do and create with beads. So people will be making all sorts of different kinds of jewelry, costumes, and even clothing out of beads. She said that every year people keep trying to take the competition up a notch and do something even more bold and creative than the year before. I am a little nervous about going into a competition like this because I’ve never done a creative type competition before.
